Leader of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Pastor Mensah Otabil has said that government of the day isn’t there just to please people.
According to him the government is there to put structures that will guide the way and manner the people should live.
He also mentioned that another responsibility of the government is to create a system that helps the people to function intelligently.
”The government is not there to please the people. Government is there to police the people. To create a system that helps the people to function intelligently.
He made this comment while speaking on discipline.
The man of God who was speaking on discipline mentioned that there is no disciplined person anywhere but rather the system that is created breeds discipline.
Giving a typical example to his point he mentioned the laws that were given to Israelites to guide the way they lived.
