Senior Vice President of Imani Africa, Kofi Bentil has showered praises on member of Parliament some George and his colleagues who are fighting for the anti-gay bill to be passed noting that they have already won the debate.
Mr. Bentil noted that Sam George and his colleagues as well as religious bodies who are equally championing the course for the anti-gay bill to be passed have won the debate.
Taking to his Facebook page he admitted that Sam George and his friends have won the dabet.
In the post he wrote; ”Sam George and his friends have won the Gay debate!…for now. I have a feeling that if we live long enough, we will see his grandchildren change the law he supports and apologize for his actions. Time will tell”.
Although Mr. Bentil praised Sam George for wining the debate for now, he strongly believes with time Sam George’s grandchildren will come and change the law he so much fought for.
Meanwhile on Tuesday 29th June 2021, eight members of the 8th Parliament presented the anti-gay bill which they refer as ‘Bill on the Promotion of Proper Human S3xual rights and Ghanaian Family Values to Speaker of Parliament Hon. Alban Bagbin.
