Many members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are rooting behind the return of John Dramani Mahama as its next flagbearer of the party.
While a few are calling on Kwabena Duffour to give John Mahama competition.
While the party is yet to select who to lead it, staunch member of the New Patriotic Party and the cousin of Nana Addo, Gabby Otchere Darko has endorsed Sam George as the NDC’s next flagbearer.
According to him the next Presidential candidate should the MP for Ningo Prampram.
His comment comes following the MP’s fight against the rights of those in the LGBTQI community in Ghana.
Sam George and some 7 other members of Parliament drafted a bill too Parliament requesting for its to be passed and this has made him heard and known in the country.
To Gabby Otchere if politics is all about populism and popularity then Sam George should be the next Presidential candidate for NDC.
