President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has hinted that his government has the intentions of redeveloping the Aburi gardens in a bid to boost the country’s tourism.
The President noted that the Aburi Gardens is of great importance to him and he will do his best to protect its heritage for future generations.
He made this revelation when he paid a courtesy call on Nana Otuobour Djan Kwasi II as part of his 3-day Eastern regional tour.
Nana Addo disclosed that with regards to the redevelopment of the Aburi Gardens he has already engaged the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Hon. Ibrahim Awal Mohammed in a discussion which has made the Minister of finance to include it in the 2022 budget.
