Four armed robbers have shot a man believed to be in his 60s in the leg at Coronation Junction in Cape Coast.

The robbers who were four in number were seated on two motor bike with each motorbike carrying two persons.
These robbers were said to have followed the man from a bank where he withdrew the money to a hardware shop where he want to purchase some building materials.
The victim was said to have parked his car in front of the hardware shop when the robbers shot him and bolted with unknown amount of money.
The victim was then rushed to the Ewim Polyclinic in the area.
The Police Command of the Central Region says investigation into the matter has already began.
