Free SHS, Planting For Food And Jobs, Allawa For Trainees Will Continue If NPP Breaks The 8-John Boadu Tells Youth

In a bid to break the eight-year cycle, the General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party, John Boadu has taken it upon himself to give youth and the good people of Ghana a reason to maintain the NPP party after their 8-year term of office.

He posits that the current administration has brought so many social interventions which can only stand he test of time if the NPP government remains in power.

According to him initiatives like Free SHS, allawa for trainees, NABCO, Planting for food and jobs and many others will come to an abrupt end if the NPP is kicked out of power.

John Boadu while addiressing the Upper West Regional Delegates said; NPP has made such an investment, such that all our Senior High School students are going to school for free. Our opponents have said time and time again that they don’t have the capacity to maintain that system that we are operating. What it means is that, if we don’t break the eight, you won’t continue to have the free SHS that you are having. Our opponents have indicated over the years that they cannot pay training college allowances, both nurses and teachers. So if you don’t break the eight, you are not going to continue to enjoy it”, he stated.

He stressed that people in the Northern part of the country are greater beneficiaries of the social intervention programmes the party has introduced, therefore there is a need for them to give the party maximum support.
