The Salaga Magistrate court has remanded the teacher who allegedly sodomised 19 pupils of the Kulpi Junior High School in the East Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region.
The suspect Natomah Otabel was arraigned before court on Thursday, 30th September where he was remanded into police custody but would have to make an appearance on 13th October 2021.
The police has since said that the victim, Natomah will be charged with defilement and unnatural carnal knowledge.
After nine students accused the teacher of sodomising them seven more students also accused him of the same crime.
19 students have accused the teacher of the same offends so far.
The students were issued medical forms to go to the Salaga Hospital for examination but the hospital couldn’t run the necessary tests.
