Minority Won’t Support Nana Addo’s Plan For A New Aircraft-Haruna Iddrisu

The Minority in Parliament headed by Haruna Iddirsu has said that it will not support the President’s plans for a new presidential aircraft.

According to the leader of Minority in Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu, Nana Addo and his cohort’s plans to buy a new Presidential jet is a total waste of time and natural resources.

”What is this that we hear that because the President cannot bath in the current Falcon, he must buy a new jet, and then we should be interested in providing for the comfort of the President when Ghanaians are reeling under economic hardship?” he questioned.

This comes after Eugene Arhin, Director of Communications at the Presidency Eugene Arhin disclosed that government is in the process of procuring much bigger aircraft which will be used for presidential travels.

Eugene explained that government’s intention of buying a bigger aircraft is geared towards saving cost on the travels of the President. He further noted that the Defence Minister will make further explanation of the move at the appropriate time.
