Leicester City star, Kelechi Iheanacho will miss his club Europa League clash with Legia Warsaw after he was left abandoned at the Warsaw air terminal on Wednesday September 29, over a documentation issue that obstructed him from entering Poland.
The Nigerian playmaker is presently expected to get back to the United Kingdom after he was declined passage. A club official is probably going to go with Iheanacho back to Leicester.
Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers affirmed Iheanacho, 24, would have been part of the first 11 but guess what, he will have no other choice than to reexamine his arrangements for the Group C match.
This is what Brendan Rogers had to say;
”We’ve had an issue with Kelechi, his documentation coming into the country wouldn’t siffice. Unfortunately he’s not available to play which is a shame because he would have played. The paperwork didn’t allow him to enter the country, which is unfortunate. We’ll have to look at that when we get back.”
