The leader and founder of Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) Percival Kofi Akpaloo has alleged that some political figures may be behind the Takoradi woman’s fake pregnancy and kidnap.
According to him some political figures may have a hand in the falsehood just to create the impression in the minds of Ghanaians that there is insecurity in the country.
”There may be even political hands in the matter so I believe our security agencies should be up and doing to arrest those people. How can a woman fake her pregnancy and kidnapping and make everyone think there is insecurity in the country?…law must not spare her at all.”, angry Mr. Akpaloo stated.
While commenting on how the police handled the case, he applauded them for a good work done the implored them to be swift in arresting all those behind the falsehood.
”That’s a good move. The law must work. This lady shouldn’t be spared at all, the mother, husband and whoever is connected should be jailed to serve as a deterrent to like-minded Ghanaians who always peddle falsehood in the country to cause fear and panic”, Mr. Akpaloo stated.
