Some angry youths in Apedwa believed to be members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) have on Wednesday 22nd September 2021 locked up some offices in the area as well as burned down some party flags following Nana Addo’s MCE appointment.

The angry youths are of the position that it is becoming a cliché for Municipal Chief Executives to always be nominated for the Abuakwa South Municipality from Kyebi at the impairment of the surrounding towns.
The youths marched through the streets of Apedwa and held placards indicating how Nana Akufo-Addo has disappointed them by nominating Akosua Asabea Annah.
