The First Gentleman of the country, President Akufo Addo has reacted to the death of the former MP for Gomoa west and form Central Regional Minister under the opposition party Ama Benyiwa Doe.
Ama Benyiwa Doe was reported dead on the 19th of September 2021 and the sad news was confirmed by her family members. Her cause of death is still unknown
Ama served as an MP under the NDC from 1992 to 2004. Reacting to this, President Akufo Addo revealed that He and the late Ama were very good friends and processed to pray for her soul.
On his Official Twitter page, He wrote: I’m sad to hear about the news of the death of Ama Benyiwa Doe. She was a colleague in Parliament, and a good friend. May her soul rest in perfect peace until the Last Day of the Resurrection when we shall all meet again. Amen!!
