Prince Kwame Minkah, host of Tonton Sansan on TV XYZ has advised the acting Inspector General of Police, George Dampare to follow Reverend Owusu Bempah’s case to the latter in order to restore police confidence.
Mr. Minkah believes there will be sanity in Ghana is the acting IGP makes a bold step to make sure rule of law triumph in the country.
”Acting IGP, this is a test case for you. Let’s know that nobody is above the law and do your work without fear or favour so that people will begin to believe that political figures can’t walk over the police”, he stated.
The Radio presenter strongly believes that it is time men of God like Owusu Bempah are made to face the laws squarely owing to how they behave because of their affinity with some big politicians in the country.
Reacting to the lawless nature of the clergyman he said; a pastor whose action has made him a gangster, a pastor who can invade a radio station with weapons and threaten to kill”, he stated while narrating how the clergyman and his men stormed radio XYZ and threatened to kill a broadcaster, Mugabe Maase.
