The Western Regional Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Charles Bissue has described John Mahama’s ‘do or die ‘ comment as the most reckless comment.
According to him the comment made by the former President from the start of the second phase of his ‘Thank You Tour’ on the Techiman-based Radio is the most reckless comment he has ever heard from the former President.
“It’s the most reckless comment I’ve ever heard coming from the former president, John Mahama. All the other comments and attempts by his party executives make it even more laughable. I think the former president should rethink his decision and calling it an idiomatic expression”, he stated.
Mr. Bissue speaking on the Asaase Breakfast show on Friday advised, John Mahama to retract and apologize over his comment.
He noted that John Mahama haven been at the helm of Ghana’s political affair shouldn’t have made such a comment.
“But he’s been at the helm of our political affairs before and you now see his people associating it with the coup that happened in Guinea. It’s not right for him to say that. Whatever he says carries weight, he stated.
