Lionel Messi, a 6 time Ballon d’Or champ, has boldly disclosed that the trophy he won with his beloved country Argentina was his most troublesome prize of his career up until now.
As per Lionel Messi, who presently plays for PSG following 21-years with Barcelona, winning the Copa America with Argentina gave him “genuine feelings of serenity” at the international level. Messi experienced last anguish at the 2014 World Cup and consecutive Copa misfortunes in 2015 and 2016 with Argentina.
At a point he expected that he wouldn’t win anything with Argentina yet he captained Lionel Scaloni’s side to a significant triumph, and says he has had a really fruitful vocation. Messi addressing ESPN said:
”Everything I won was important and beautiful, but this was the most difficult because I went through many things. It was knock after knock. I finally had happy holidays the first day to the last. Before I was bitter and now it was different from start to finish. My children sing Argentina songs all the time, the remember the final against Brazil and for me it’s spectacular to see how they enjoy that.
I have peace of mind of having achieved the dream that has been denied to me so many times. It was like a dream, a spectacular moment. I couldn’t believe it happened. I enjoy watching the images now more than at the time as I was in a daze. I didn’t quite understand what was happening.”

I don’t believe he had Covid. I know he wasn’t doing well in camp. The young guys were piecing him up. I had a young guy from my camp who was piecing him up.”
This is what he had to say about his own preparations towards their third bout;
”Sparring has been amazing. I can’t say names but just know there have been a lot of people on the canvas.”
