Shocking!! Mike Tyson Accused Of Being ‘Scared’ To Fight Evander Holyfield Over Fears Of Being Knocked Out Again

Boxing legend, Mike Tyson has been blamed for being “frightened” to battle rival Evander Holyfield

Triller’s fellow benefactor Ryan Kavanaugh uncovered that Mike Tyson turned down an “enormous payday” for a battle with Evander Holyfield over dread of being taken out.

Holyfield is making a historic return to the ring this end of the week to battle previous UFC star, Vitor Belfort. The 58-year-old moved forward on seven days’ notification to replace the one and only Oscar De La Hoya after he contracted Covid-19.

Mike Tyson and Holyfield have battled twice previously. In 1996 Holyfield crushed Tyson by TKO and their rematch in 1997 saw Tyson precluded for notoriously gnawing a lump out of Holyfield’s ear.

What’s more, Kavanaugh said that he contacted Tyson about a battle with Holyfield. This is what Kavanaugh told Sky Sports;

”We have an offer out to Mike. We have been told that he is scared to fight Evander. There has been back and forth hoopla, there is a massive payday ready for Mike to fight on Thanksgiving. A massive payday, one of the biggest.

But we can’t seem to push it along. Now I have heard, from a number of reliable sources, that Mike is too scared. He thinks Evander would knock him out. I wouldn’t ask nobody to do anything they don’t want to do. But it’s for charity. If we can work something out that works for everybody then it’s a win-win-win.”
