Pressure Nana Addo To Stop Extravagant Spending-Okudzeto Ablakwa Advises Ghanaians

Member of Parliament for North Tongu constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has asked Ghanaians to team up with him to pressure the President Nana Addo, to be prudent with the caliber of planes he uses for is international trip.

The MP says the President feels comfortable using expensive aircrafts for his travels because the people of Ghana haven’t mounted any pressure on them yet regarding the financial lose his choice of aircraft is causing the country.

He made this comment while revealing the expensive kind of aircraft the President used for his trips in Germany and UK despite Ghanaians criticizing the initial cost of the President’s aircraft which he used on his trip to France few months back.

Mr. Okudzeto has disclosed that the President’s trips cost the country £14,000 per hour and a total of GHS3.4 million hence asking Ghanaians to demand a national policy on presidential travels to limit the wasteful spending as far as traveling is concerned.

Mr. Kudzeto who spoke on Okay FM noted that its only anger from the Ghanaian populace that can stop the President from using luxurious and extravagant aircraft for his trips.
