The National Communication officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sammy Gyamfi has said the presidency has become a breeding ground for criminals under Nana Akufo-Addo’s watch.
Sammy Gyamfi strongly believes that all sort of thievery takes place at the presidency yet the President and his Vice are watching on as if nothing is happening.
“No wonder the presidency has today become a breeding ground for criminals under their watch.”
He made this comment while addressing journalists in Accra while reacting to the challenge thrown by the General Secretary of the NPP in connection with former President John Mahama’s corruption allegation against the Akufo-Addo’s administration.
Accusing the current government of stealing, Mr. Gyamfi said; “they steal fertilizer, they steal excavators, they steal oil, they steal everything.”
Reacting to John Mahama’s accusation of the current administration he said; Mr. Mahama “echoed the sentiments of the vast majority of Ghanaians who feel scandalized by the unbridled corruption and plain thievery that has become the hallmark of the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia NPP government”.
“The alarming case of corruption under this government is such that Ghanaians cannot wait to exact act accountability by voting out the NPP after their eight-year tenure in 2024,” he added.
