Some 14 persons have been arrested for allegedly defiling a 13-year-old girl at Gomoa Adzintem.

This comes after some Formed Police Unit (FPU) were deployed to the area as news of the incident broke out.
According to a statement by the police some items such as two pump-action guns, two single-barrel guns, machetes, and other weapons were found on the suspects.
The suspects are currently in police custody.
