The General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) John Boadu has accused the former President and 2020 presidential candidate of the NDC, John Mahama of deceiving his supporters to attempt mayhem on the streets of Ghana.
Recall that after the 2020 election was declared, John Mahama and the NDC refused to accept defeat and many of their supporters hit the street nationwide to protest against the election results.
Speaking at a Press conference on Thursday in Accra, John Boadu accused the former President of being the brain behind the nationwide protest that almost marred the beauty of the election.
“Once again we insist that it is clear defeated candidate Mahama is yet to recover from the 2020 election loss. After deceiving a few of his supporters to attempt mayhem on the roads, he has the audacity to talk about averting civil war?“, he stated.
Meanwhile Mr. Boadu has said that the former President is still struggling to recover from the 2020 election defeat because he was never expecting to be defeated by the NPP and Nana Addo.
