Upon investigations by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Headquarters in charge of the Abesim murder they have found the intestine of one of the murdered victims of Richard Appiah in a cocoa farm.

Reports from the police indicates that Richard buried the intestine of the victim in a Cocoa farm in Abesim.
The police have reportedly exhumed the intestines for pathological analysis and forensic examination in Accra.
The investigation team according to the police have also worked around a septic tank and other places of concern for further examinations.
The police added that two sharp cutlasses with blood stains used by the suspect to commit the crime were retrieved from the scene.
