Staunch member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Gabby Otchere-Darko has asserted that the taxpayers money in Ghana is being well used than it was ever used under John Mahama’s administration.
Mr. Otchere-Darko couldn’t fathom on how a leader like John Mahama will keep abusing the word corruption. He made this comment via his social media handle.
How do we measure corruption? when you hear a leader we know like Mahama abusing the word ”corruption” it makes you wonder. Is it not obvious that a lot more is being done with taxpayers money now than under Mahama?
Meanwhile John Mahama has said that under his administration he borrowed money to build infrastructure but same cannot be said about this current government.
”We were criticized by our successors as over-borrowing but a lot of what we borrowed for was tangible for people to be able to see. Several years later you are a witness to what has happened . From 120 billion cedis of total public debt to almost 400 billion cedis. What most Ghanaians ask is what have we done with this money? John Mahama quizzed.
He added that most of the money borrowed has gone into consumption than it being used to provide the kind of infrastructure Ghanaians need.
