Women’s Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Cape Coast South constituency, Mrs. Carolyn Ewusi has expressed strong hope that President Nana Addo will definitely hand over power to an NPP candidate cum 2024.
According to the Women’s Organizer, the NPP can only break the 8-year cycle and put the NDC into opposition only if it gets support from hardworking women.
Madam Ewusi further said that the President, Nana Akufo-Addo has laid a good foundation and for that reason whoever takes over from the President must make sure to continue his good works.
She made this comment while speaking at the Cape Coast South NPP Women’s Wing Conference.
”To break the 8, the party needs hardworking women to fight a good fight to achieve their aim, come what may we shall break the 8 and snatch Cape Coast North and South constituency parliamentary seats for NPP”, she stated.
She also said the Free SHS initiative introduced by the President has eased the burden of most single mothers who couldn’t take care of their children.
The Deputy National Youth Organizer of the party, madam Perpetual Lomokie said that party cannot do without women’s involvement in all activities of politics because women are special as far as campaign is concerned.
