The Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 elections, John Dramani Mahama has donated some bags of maize, palm oil, assorted drinks and money to the chiefs and people of Ga West.
The former President is currently touring the Upper East, Upper West, Norther Region etc to thank them for voting for him during the 2020 elections and for that reason he was represented by madam Sherry Ayitey, a vice chairperson of the party , Hon. Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, MP for Odododiodoo and chairman of the Greater Accra Parliamentary Caucus, and Hon. Nii Okai Laryea former MP for the Amasaman Constituency.
Meanwhile while speaking with the Chiefs of the Upper East Region, he urged them to appeal to the current President to complete projects he began instead of starting new ones since his administration came to continue projects it came to meet.
