President Akufo Addo has been enstooled as a Chief in Bono Region after he paid the chiefs there a visit. The President was honoured with the stool name “Okogyeaman Odomankoma” after he visited Barima Minta Afari in Bono Region
Sharing the post on his Verified Facebook page, The President wrote:
On Wednesday, 11th August 2021, I ended my 2-day working visit to the Bono Region, with visits to Sunyani, Odumase, and Chiraa. Amongst others, I commissioned the Bono Region Fire Service Headquarters; commissioned the newly constructed Maternity and Mental Health Block of the Sunyani Municipal Hospital; inspected ongoing work on the construction of Sunyani Town Roads under the Sinohydro Facility; commissioned a new administration block for the 3rd Battalion Infantry Base (3BN) at Sunyani; inspected ongoing work on the construction of accommodation for troops at 3BN; inspected ongoing work on the construction of a building for the Sunyani West Assembly; paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Chiraa, Nana Afari Mintah; and inspected ongoing work on the Chiraa-Akwaasua Road.
