The first case of the deadly Ebola disease has been reported in Cote d’ivorie. This is the first case in Cote D’I’vorie since 1994

This was confirmed after the health officials hospitalized a patient in the capital of Abidjan after arriving from Guinea. According to investigations, the patience traveled from Guinea to Cote D’Ivorie by road on the 12th of August and later got admitted after complaining of fever.
It could be recalled that there was a four month Ebola outbreak in Guinea which was declared over in June 2021
