President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has subtly reacted to the ongoing Sputnik V saga.
A number of Ghanaians especially, NDC MPs have called for the resignation of Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang Manu owing from he procuring Sputnik V vaccines without the approval of Parlaimenst.
The National Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sammy Gyamfi has also called for the resignation of the Finance Minister, Ken-Ofori Atta since he is the chief culprit in the Sputnik saga.
Nana Addo speaking to a gathering in Bono Region on Tuesday, 10th August 2021, the President subtly reacted to the Sputnik v saga stating that the Minister is currently receiving slaps.
“There are a lot of people from the Bono Region in my government; including the Minister of Health, who is currently receiving slaps. He is an indigene of Dormaa. He has really suffered in that Health Ministry and is still suffering.”
The Health Minister is on a two-week leave as it stands.
