It was reported her earlier about how Ghanaians can now travel to the United Arab Emirate with a Visa and Ghanaian parliamentarians have been able to successfully approve a agreement between Ghana and United Arab Emirate (UAE)
This agreement between these two countries was first initiated on the 18th of November 2019 and it cancels the visa requirement for passport holders in Ghana and UAE who can only stay for a period not exceeding 90 days
On the 26th of May 2021,Mrs Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, the Minister for Foreign Affair and Regional integration presented the MoU in Parliament. After a long deliberation, the agreement was approved by Parliament on the 5th of August 2021.
However a new Statement from the Ghana Dubai Embassy state that the agreement has not be finalized yet ad its still in progress therefore Ghanaians should hold their horse and not be too excited about it
