Three pastors of the Agbemavor Church and Prayer Camp have been arrested in connection with the death of a woman after her body was discovered on the Church premises.
Deputy Superintendent of police in charge of the Kpetoe Police District, Benedicta Akpene revealed that the 46-year-old woman identified as Patience Nyormeviadzi was found dead wrapped in a black outfit in one of the rooms at the camp.
She noted that the police upon reaching the Church premises found that a substance had been used to smear the body of the dead believed to have been used to preserve the body while a standing fan in use was directed on the body.
The police suspects that the pastors of the church had planned to bury the woman who visited the church for prayers but died.
The suspects are Eklu Yao Maluli, head pastor and two associate pastors Alex Aimo Atsu and Joshia Saku.
