Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Freddie Blay has said that the only way the party can be kept in power is by delivering faithfully the promises it made to Ghanaians while in opposition.
He made this comment while speaking at the 29th anniversary of the party which was dubbed ”NPP At 29, A Tradition For Stability, Prosperity, And Continuity”.
Freddie Blay noted that the core mandate of the New Patriotic Party is commitment and dedication to public service and this is what is fueling the President to serve the interest of the public.
I believe this is what Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is doing at the moment, irrespective of the ugly noises and sometimes direct confrontations…what will keep us in power and help us build a sustainable future is our dedication to delivering faithfully the promises we made to the people of this country”, he noted.
He also charged members of the party to prioritize unity over parochial interest since that will drag the party behind.
