Authorities of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology have suspended the end-of-semester examination which was scheduled for August 9, 2021 as a result of UTAG strike.
The University Teachers Association of Ghana embarked on an indefinite strike on Monday August 2 across the country with claims that government’s representatives have failed to improve their poor working conditions.
A statement issued by the management of KNUST indicated that the end-of semester Examination has been suspended till further notice.
“It is announced for the information of all students and staff, that due to the ongoing strike action by UTAG, the End-of-Semester Examinations originally scheduled for Monday, 9th August 2021 to Friday 20th August 2021 have been temporarily suspended until further notice,” the statement read.
Owing from the UTAG strike many Universities across the country are not in session.
