Famous Ghanaian and activist who used to be the Chief Executive Officer of the Progressive Alliance Movement, Kofi Koranteng has stated that Parliament of Ghana needs to be resolved.
He made this comment while reacting to the Saglemi housing project that has raised many concerns in the country.
The Saglemi project has dragged Ghanaian politician, Collins Dauda for intentionally misapplying $200 million which had been approved by Parliament for the construction of 5,000 housing units.
But his spokesperson reacting to the accusations explained that the money wasn’t directly given to Mr. Collins Dauda but rather disbursed by the ministry of Finance at the time.
Mr. Kofi Koranteng speaking on the Maakye show hosted by Captain Smart on Onua TV stated that Parliament of Ghana need to be dissolved because the MPs are ineffective.
He says most MPs are in Parlaiment for themselves and not their people.
He added that he is saddened over the fact that both NPP and NDC MPs sat unconcerned to watch Saglemi housing project built under the National Democratic Congress administration to rot.
