Veteran Kumawood Actress has finally narrated how she landed in an American prison for drug trafficking. According to her, the incident happened in 2012 and that she spent More than a year but she kept appearing in court until she was proven Innocent and deported back to Ghana
According to her, during her active acting Days, she got the opportunity to travel outside when some men contacted her about a movie shoot in the USA and made traveling arrangement for her however what she didnt know was that a parcel of cocaine was placed inside her bag and it was after her luggage was searched by the security officers that they found the parcel and got her arrested.
She claim the two men who went with her took to their heels immediately they realized she was arrested. In her words, she said: “They had checked out and were waiting for me at a distance. I was totally ignorant of what was going on and so I was taken to another room where my luggage was searched. My bag was ripped apart and a brown parcel was found. They ripped the parcel and found hard drugs in it. I was very shocked and the only thing I could ask was if they were sure this was my bag. The bag was really mine, I was then asked if I was traveling alone and I said I was with two Gentlemen but unfortunately they bolted away so I gave the police their description”
