Its been 29 years since former President and 2020 Presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress John Mahama and his wife married.
30th July marked exactly 29 years since the couple married and they took the opportunity to celebrate their long lived marriage.
In a post on Facebook the former First Lady disclosed that deciding to marry her man, John Mahama was the best decision she took 29 years ago.
”The most wonderful decision I ever took in my entire life was to share my life and heart with you”.
She disclosed that its been such a wonderful experience living with the former President.
”It has been such a wonderful experience living with you for the last 29 years”, she stated.
”While it’s true that destiny brought us together, I strongly believe our patience, perseverance, and commitment to each other are the attributes that have kept our union strong and allowed it to stand the test of time.I’ve enjoyed every bit of my journey with you and I look forward to creating many more beautiful memories together. Thank you for making my life so beautiful and complete. Happy anniversary to us, my love!”, she continued her message to her husband on their anniversary.
Her husband also expressed how grateful he is to be with her in a tweet.
