Ghana’s Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin Yeboah has ordered for the Kasoa ritual killing case to be transferred to Kaneshie District Court in Accra from the District Court in the Central Region of Ghana.
This is for the purpose of quick trail.
On Thursday July 29th 2021, the prosecutor Chief Inspector Ernest Agbo told the court that he has received an order that has been signed by the Chief Justice of the republic to transfer the case from the District Court.
He also mentioned that he has received the bill of indictment and summary of evidence from the office the Attorney General for committals to be organized.
The case has since been transferred by the presiding judge, his Wordship Mr. Oheneba Antwi-Bosiako to Accra.
Nicolas Kani and Felix Nyarko are the suspects accused of murdering 11-year-old Ishmael at Kasoa.
