Few days ago, former Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Koku Anyidoho was expelled from the party for failing to honour the party’s invitation when he was suspended for his anti-party behaviour.
Speaking in an interview, Asiedu Nketia disclosed that the party had no option than to sack Anyidoho from the party because he disrespected the executives of the party.
”Our members were impatient. His constituents couldn’t wait for him to be expelled but as a party that believes in the right to fair fair trail, we wrote to him to avail himself to our disciplinary committee but he declined every invitation.”
”He didn’t show up so we were left with no other option than to expel him from the party”, Asiedu Nketia added.
Few days after his expulsion from the party, Mr. Anyidoho has said that he refuses to be provoked, probably by what his party folks have done to him.
In a tweet he wrote; ”exhibiting a high sense of tolerance in the face of envy-led extreme provocation, is a sign of divine maturity and wisdom. I chose to be divinely wise and matured so SHALL REFUSE to be provoked. Blessed day and blessings galore over the weekend. Ghana shall not die. Shalom”, he tweeted.
