Government appeal to Ghanaians to donate GHc100 a Month to help build the National Cathedral

Ghana’s finance Minister, Hon Ken Ofori Atta has appealed to Ghanaians to donate to help the government of the country build the National Cathedral that’s Ghc100 a month

Speaking at the Mid – year Budget review, Mr Ken Ofori Atta claim the appeal is to get about a Million Ghanaians to contribute towards the construction of the cathedral. He claim the initiative has been theme as the “Ketoa Biaa Nsua”in the native language which translate into the English Language as “No amount is too small”

“Work on the National Cathedral is progressing speedily and following the program of the contractor. The National Cathedral is expected to be officially commissioned on the 6th of March 2024. Upon completion, the national cathedral will provide a space for formal religious activities of state and symbolizes the enormous contribution of faith to nation – Building. This state and church Partnership envisaged by the President to develop the National cathedral is on course. An Initiative , the Ghc100 monthly also dubbed as “Ketoa Biaa Nsua” will be launched by the trustees of the National cathedral on the 12th of August 2021, to give many Ghanaians the opportunity to be part of the history of the National Cathedral”
