Latest report gathered from the world of sports indicates that Barcelona have officially reached an “agreeable” out-of-court settlement with their previous player Neymar to end their legal dispute.
You would recall that Neymar, who presently plays for Paris Saint-Germain sued the Spanish giants over neglected bonuses due as a component of an agreement he endorsed in October 2016, preceding his €222m record move to his present club.
Neymar suedBarcelona for a whopping €46.3 million euros, and they counter-sued for break of agreement. An appointed authority who happens to be a judge in Barcelona agreed with the club, requesting Neymar in June last year to pay Barcelona a whopping €6.7 million euros.
Spanish media said Neymar had advanced and furthermore dispatched another body of evidence against Barca. That case is presently void.
This is what Barcelona had to say in a statement;
”FC Barcelona announce that it has ended out of court in amicable fashion the various labour and civil litiogation cases that were open with the Brazilian player Neymar.
As such, a transactional agreement between the club and the player has been signed to end the legal cases that were pending between the two parties”.
