Screenshots: ”I Thought You Were Wiser”- Ghanaians Blast John Dumelo For Suggesting A 5-Year Term For Any President/ Government To Function Effectively

Pinaxnews.com earlier reported on Ghanaian actor, farmer, father of 1 and Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Setor Dumelo taking to social media to make a bold suggestion with regards to the term for Presidents in mother Ghana.

In a post located by Pinaxnews.com, the Ghanaian entertainer expressed that four years isn’t sufficient for any administration to work adequately adding that 5 years for each term will help and for that matter we ought to think about it.

This is what he had to say;

”4 years is not enough for ANY President/ Gov to function effectively. The first year is used to settle down in the office and the last year for campaign, leaving only 2 years for effective work. We should consider 5 years per term.”

Dumelo’s suggestion has since caused quite a number of reactions with some social media commentators not agreeing with him.
