A sad report reaching Pinaxnews.com indicates that a a 31-year-old mother and her child kicked the bucket subsequent to their building breakdown on them at Akrobi Old Town in the Wenchi District of the Bono Region.
As indicated by reports, the mother and her child were seriously trapped under the fallen structure on Monday, July 12, 2021 when her better half had recently moved out to get some food for the house.
The spouse of the deceased identified as Kwabena Badara Fiagra recounts the story that his better half had tied their one-year-old child at her back while she was working around the house when the structure imploded, adding that they were at the specific position when the mishap occurred.
The husband put the occurrence on the awful condition of the structure, adding that they had effectively wanted to move into another house.
In the mean time, a National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) official and facilitator for Akrobi Zone, Abudu Mohammed, said he had cautioned the owner of the run down condition of the structure, however his recommendation was not regarded.
Along with the Assembly Member, Winston Gyan, and the NADMO Officials, their bodies were recovered and kept at Wenchi Methodist Hospital funeral home for post-mortem and conservation.
