Rufftown record signee, Wendy Shay over the weekend revealed that most Nigerian Underground artist are sleeping with most Ghanaian Female celebrities.
In an interview on peace FM, Wendy Shay revealed that she is aware of some top female Ghanaian celebrities sleeping with most Nigerian Underground artists.
Making this revelation, she claim most Ghanaian underground artist are not given the opportunity to penetrate in the Nigerian market not to talk of dating their top female celebrities.
She then advised them to stop such “Disgraceful” act as it might be the reason why the Ghanaian music Industry is not progressing or doing well.
In her words, she said: “Our top stars not only musicians.. all you see are underground artists from Nigeria who comes and is dating a Top female star in Ghana. I cant mention names but its the female celebrities I’ve seen doing that. Its heartbreaking”
“I cant mention names because if I do, it will be like I have Personalized this issue but its an observation I’ve made for sometime now. Even the country as a whole, you’ll realize that we support outsiders than we support our own”
This was posted on popular Instablog9ja and a popular Nigerian journalist decided to call Wendy Shay out for making such a comment, The journalist identified as Oma Akatugba called her jealous and a low quality take from a low quality musician.
He wrote: Dating has nothing to do with status. Anyone can date anyone. Perhaps you are jealous that no one has asked you out amongst the “underground artists” ? Very low quality take from a low quality musician.
