Nana Addo Always Sets Up Commission Of Inquiry To Cover Up Issues-Asiedu Nketia

The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Johnson Asiedu Nketia alias General Mosquito has asserted that President Nana Akufo-Addo always sets up Committee of Inquiry or Commission of Inquiry only when he wants to cover up wrongful acts under his administration.

He said most often than not, the President doesn’t go according to the recommendations of the commission and he cited the Emile Short Commission of Inquiry as a typical example.

The Emile Short Commission of Inquiry was set to probe the Ayawaso West Wuogon bye-election disturbance yet the president paid no heed to the recommendation of the Commission.

In an interview on Dwaboase aired on Power FM, Asiedu Nketia stressed that nothing good will come out of the 3-member Committee set to probe the Ejura killings that took place on 29th June 2021.

He noted that the Nana Addo led administration is insensitive to the plight of ordinary Ghanaians.

Meanwhile Security Analyst Adib Saani has called for the resignation of the Ashanti Regional Minister following comments he made when he appeared before the 3-member Committee.
