Latest report gathered from the world of football indicates that Crystal Palace have signed Patrick Vieira as their new manager on a three-year bargain. The Arsenal legend replaces Roy Hodgson who ventured down toward the finish of last season following four years in charge.
Patrick Vieira has marked an agreement until the late spring of 2024 and acknowledges his third job in senior administration. Sporting director Dougie Freedman will work with Vieira on all football matters, essentially transfers.
Most as of late the 45-year-old was responsible for Nice yet was sacked by the Ligue 1 side in December following a helpless run.
During over two seasons with the club, Vieira drove them to seventh and fifth-place however the last happened after the 2019-20 season was curtailed right on time due to the Covid pandemic.
This is what he told Crystal Palace website;
”I am really excited to have this opportunity to return to the premier League and manage this great football club, as we begin a new chapter together. It is a project that is really appealing to me, having spoken a lot with the chairman and sporting director about their ambition and plans for the whole club including the academy.
The club has fantastic foundations in place after many years in the Premier League, and I hope we can make further improvements and continue to drive the club forward. I am also very excited to experience the atmosphere the club’s supporters make at Selhurst Park and away from home too, and I know just how important that can be for the team.”
