Broadcast journalist, Johnnie Hughes who works with TV3 has disclosed that Ejura-Sekyeredumasi’s Municipal Chief Executive, Sualisu Bamba has fled with his family to safety and has refused to pick all calls.
According to Johnnie the MCE who is representing the president in the area who is suppose to protect his people in times of trouble has rather fled the vicinity and left locals to their fate as chaos erupted.
He made this revelation in a tweet on Thursday July 1, 2021.
”Violence breaks at Ejura. MCE, who reps the Prez there as the boss of the municipal security council ‘flees’ with his family to safety. The leader left the people he’s been tasked to protect behind & refused to pick calls. He’s still at post. WHO WILL TAKE YOU TO SAFETY?”, he tweeted.
Meanwhile the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has called for the immediate dismissal, arrest and prosecution of the MCE in Ejura following the death of Anyass Ibrahim Mohammed, the social media activist.
The NDC strongly believes the MCE is complicit in the sudden demise of Mohammed.
