Security Analyst, Paul Boateng has said that what Ghanaian politicians feel threatened about is losing elections and not the security of Ghanaians.
He says most politicians feel threatened about losing elections and for that reason even if it is Ghs2billion that they have to invest in an election to win, they will but not in the security of Ghanaians.
Mr. Boateng made this comment while speaking on the chaos that erupted in Ejura in the Ashanti region as well as the approach used by security personnel on Tuesday in a bid to restore order.
According to him in restoring order during chaos, its not about shooting. He says the police and military only shoots when their lives are at stake.
He added that in a situation where a police personnel need to shoot, they have no right to shoot to kill.
