Ghanaian actress and strong #fixthecountry activists, Efia Odo has descended heavily on Ghanaian celebrities for turning a blind eye to recent brutalities in the country but do differently when the matter is international
In a post on social media she recalled how some celebrities in Ghana were solidly behind black lives matter come yet have been in active now that their own fans are under attack in the country.
”But they’ll tweet about Americans and hashtag Black Lives Matter? Your fans are in Ghana and are being murdered by military men and you’re telling me we don’t feed them? So then why do they ask for support from these same fans that don’t Feed them? It’s not about me it’s about us”, she tweeted.
Efia Odo says despite the fact that these celebs get their support from Ghanaians they really do not care about them.
She added that since these celebs have shown unconcern attitude towards Ghanaians, she is waiting patiently on who these celebs will ask of support from.
