Efia Odo and some members of the #fixthecountry team have been arrested on Friday 25th June while the hearing of the case that was sent to the Accra High Court was ongoing.
Some Ghanaians are unhappy about the arrest and have expressed displeasure on social media.
A number of Ghanaians on twitter are calling for the immediate release of Efia Odo toegther with the other conveners who were arrested along with her.
According to those calling for the release the conveners have done nothing wrong than to call on leaders to do the right thing in the country.
Meanwhile the Accra High Court today, 25th June 2021 dismissed the injunction application against the #fixthecountry demonstration on grounds that it is considered moot because date for the demonstration has elapsed.
Presiding Judge Justice Ruby Aryeetey stated that the conveners can go ahead with the demonstration.
