Ghanaian songwriter and Highlife singer, Kofi Kinaata has said that he is hopeful and optimistic that he will win the Song Writer of the year which he has been nominated for in the upcoming VGMA awards.

Kofi was nominated to the category with his ‘Behind the Scene’ song.
He happens to be in the same category with Diana Hamilton, Adina, Joe Mettle, Adun Lei Epixode.
Speaking on TV3’s ‘New Day’ show he noted that he will win the category because the song has been patronize by the street as well as well played on the air waves.
He added that owing from the lyrics in the song, he sometimes get jealous of himself.
