2021 Census: Get Counted; No One Can Discriminate Against You-Nana Akufo-Addo

President Nana Akufo-Addo has assured all the tribes in Ghana that no one will be left out in the 2021 Population and Housing Census which may commence on June 27, 2021.

This comes after some minority groups raised concerns about the census claiming there are discrimination in the manner in which the questionnaire has been crafted.

The Fulani’s in Ghana for instance have complained that their tribe had been captured ‘under the ‘other tribe’ category of the questionnaire instead of giving them a section that stands on its own.

As part of the President’s tour in the North East Region on Tuesday he the chiefs and their people that no one will be discriminated against.

“I say everybody and I mean everybody will be counted without discrimination. Whatever your tribe and ethnicity, so long as you are here on June 27, 2021, census night, get counted.”

The president stressed on the need for all Ghanaians to get involved in the exercise.
