Counselor and pastor, George Lutterodt has said that some husbands are not being recognized when they arrive home from work because they are unwanted at home.
He says these husbands are unwanted at home not necessarily because of telenovelas that their wives watch at home but because they are irrelevant.
”An irrelevant husband isn’t irrelevant because of telenovela…..so our speaker of parliament in case this is happening in any friend’s home, maybe not your home but a friend has told you that because of telenovela when I enter my house my wife doesn’t see me, tell your friend that he is not needed in that house. Either he rent a new place or find a new house,” he stated.
Mr. Lutterodt added that even when telenovelas are stopped from being aired on TV, the women will still watch on their phones because there are apps that supports it.
He made this comment while reacting to the speaker of parliament, Alban Bagbin’s comment on the influx of telenovelas destroying the morals of most Ghanaian women.
